Job Summary:

Seeking an IT Engagement Analyst to coordinate and facilitate executive engagement, governance, and external activities on behalf of IT leadership with critical technology partners. This support-function role coordinates technology workshops across cyber, cloud, and AI domains - a fast-paced, high-visibility position suited to someone with strong attention to detail and executive communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and prioritize requests from new technology vendors and lobby groups for appropriate engagement with IT leaders, including review of debarred vendor lists (NYS) and liaising with Strategic Relationship Management
• Submit Project Sunshine documentation as needed; ensure execution of related action items and follow-ups
• Track Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meetings - transcripts, leadership artifacts, attendee records for critical IT partners
• Support performance reviews - capture/review performance metrics, track complaints/escalations, initiate annual performance surveys
• Monitor and report on vendor engagement/event pipeline for critical tech vendors (Google, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, Databricks, etc.)
• Partner with Supplier Relationship Management and Strategic Supplier Management to ensure accurate vendor contact information
• Track and report engagement event metrics (national, state, community reach)
• Report on external NYS events and conference attendance
• Maintain inventory of engagement artifacts for executive-level presentations
• Facilitate monthly engagement calls with IT leadership to review panels, keynotes, and moderating opportunities
• Help identify and resolve scheduling conflicts for external commitments
• Serve as liaison between IT and Corporate Communications for external engagement content (intranet, social media, LinkedIn)
• Track engagement targets and metrics
• Identify technology/innovation award opportunities (national, state, community level)
• Coordinate with IT SMEs and stakeholders on award submissions (e.g., Gartner Orbie Awards) by required deadlines

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong organizational and coordination skills; thrives in fast-paced environments
• Excellent written communication skills, including authoring executive-audience content (e.g., LinkedIn)
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with IT, Corporate Communications/Marketing, and Supplier/Procurement teams
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Communications

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience preparing executive-level presentations and reporting (e.g., at a top consulting or professional services firm)
• PowerBI and SharePoint experience strongly encouraged
