Caregiver — Shoreline, WA Acti-Kare Responsive In-– is seeking a compassionate, dependable Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Shoreline, WA. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in helping others maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life. Schedule: Various Days (5 days a week) with hours between 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Compensation: $21.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment Job Summary As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support with daily living activities while creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for the client. You will work independently while following the client's care plan and communicating with the family and care team as needed. Responsibilities * Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility. * Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home. * Prepare and serve meals while following dietary requirements. * Provide medication reminders as directed. * Assist clients with prescribed exercises and other recommended activities. * Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities. * Perform light housekeeping tasks that the client is unable to complete independently. * Assist with shopping or accompany clients on errands when needed. * Monitor and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior. * Communicate effectively with clients, families, nurses, and other members of the care team. * Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. * Respond appropriately and responsibly to emergencies or unusual situations. Requirements * Previous caregiving or related experience preferred, but not required. * Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association preferred/required as applicable. * Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to client care. * Ability to work independently and follow established care plans. * Knowledge of basic housekeeping and meal preparation, including dietary considerations. * Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills. * Physical ability and endurance to perform required caregiving tasks. * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.
