Salary: $106,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience developing with Python and building backend applications.
• Experience with Django and/or Flask.
• Strong experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and practices.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.
• Solid understanding of backend development and software engineering principles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Agile development experience is preferred.
• Preferred: experience building Python microservices and deploying Python applications in OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.
• Preferred: familiarity with automated build and deployment pipelines, Git or other source-control systems, relational or NoSQL databases, and enterprise application development and production support.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based backend applications and services.
• Build and enhance applications using Django and/or Flask.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Work with development and engineering teams throughout the software development life cycle.
• Take part in code reviews, debugging, testing, and production support.
• Create scalable, maintainable backend solutions using Python.
• Partner with DevOps teams on application builds, deployments, and releases.
• Use CI/CD concepts to automate software builds, testing, and deployment.
• Support applications running in containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.
• Troubleshoot application, API, deployment, and container issues.
• Contribute to technical documentation and development standards.

We are seeking a Python Developer for an 18-month W2 contract focused on backend development and APIs. The role is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote. You will work closely with our application, infrastructure, DevOps, and QA teams to design, develop, deploy, and support scalable enterprise applications.
