STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Full-Stack .NET Modernization Developer on behalf of our client in Atlanta, GA . We are looking for an experienced .NET professional to support a major modernization initiative involving the transformation of legacy ASP.NET applications into modern .NET platforms, modern APIs, Azure cloud services, and React-based user experiences.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with .NET development, legacy application modernization, cloud integration, SQL Server, and Agile software delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, modernize, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET and C# .
Lead hands-on migration of legacy ASP.NET applications to modern .NET platforms .
Develop and integrate modern Web APIs and application services.
Support application architecture and technical design decisions.
Build and maintain cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure .
Work with Azure App Services, Function Apps, deployment pipelines, and configuration management.
Develop and optimize SQL Server solutions, including stored procedures and T-SQL.
Perform schema migrations, data cleanup, and database optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in Agile development practices, including Scrum or Kanban.
Contribute to application delivery using Azure DevOps or GitHub .
8+ years of professional .NET development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with:
C#
ASP.NET MVC
Web API
Demonstrated experience migrating legacy ASP.NET applications to .NET 6, 7, 8, or later versions .
Strong production experience with SQL Server , including:
Stored procedures
T-SQL
Query/performance tuning
Schema migrations
Data cleanup
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure , including:
Azure App Services
Azure Function Apps
Deployment pipelines
Configuration management
5+ years of experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or GitHub .
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience modernizing large-scale enterprise applications.
Experience with React or modern front-end development.
Experience working with cloud-native application architectures and modern API-based solutions.
Experience supporting complex modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a senior .NET developer with strong modernization experience who can work across application development, architecture, Azure cloud integration, database development, and Agile delivery while helping transition legacy systems to modern technology platforms.
