Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We expect formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus 3+ years of hands-on experience.
• We need strong familiarity with site reliability culture and the ability to apply SRE practices within an application or platform.
• We require proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .Net.
• We look for solid knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline such as Azure, artificial intelligence, or Android.
• We value experience with observability, including white-box and black-box monitoring, SLO alerting, and telemetry collection using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, and Splunk.
• We need experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform.
• We prefer familiarity with containers and orchestration technologies such as ECS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• We look for familiarity with troubleshooting common networking technologies and issues.
• We value the ability to contribute to large, collaborative teams by presenting information clearly, promptly, and with minimal supervision.
• We want someone who can proactively identify blockers and shows interest in learning technology that supports innovation.

• We guide and support others in creating appropriate design levels and building consensus with peers when needed.
• We collaborate with software engineers and other teams to design and implement deployment approaches using automated CI/CD pipelines.
• We work with software engineers and teams to design, develop, test, and deliver availability, reliability, scalability, and related application solutions.
• We implement infrastructure as code, configuration as code, and network as code for the applications and platforms in our remit.
• We partner with technical experts, stakeholders, and team members to resolve complex issues.
• We use service level indicators and service level objectives to address issues proactively before they affect customers.
• We help drive adoption of site reliability engineering best practices across our team.
